In September 2008, Practical Parenting mazagine published an article titled ‘Babymooning’.

“There are a million things to do before a baby arrives, but what about looking after mum and dad?  Bronwyn McNulty discovers a ‘babymoon’ can work wonders.”

 The article listed one getwaway destination in each state for prospective parents before the arrival of their ‘bundle of joy’.   

In Victoria: Dee Jays Studio, Hepburn Springs was recommended:  “In a bush setting near Daylesford, the stylish, contemporary, open-plan studio boasts a log fire, king-sized bed, twin spa and grandstand views”.

There’s something to be said for sitting in a spa bath, sipping bubbly while gazing out at a bush vista. There’s a lot to be said for it, actually, but let’s not get ahead of ourselves . . .
